The Jaquet Droz Geneve 1784 watch collection is a tribute to the legendary Swiss craftsman and watchmaker Pierre Jaquet Droz, who was able to establish a third, and final workshop, in Geneva in 1784. Dedicated to the legendary handcraft and ingenuity of the founder, the Jaquet Droz Hommage Geneve 1784 watch collection is made up of four models -- the "Grande Seconde", which displays a small hour and minute subdial and a large seconds subdial below it, the "Petite Heure Minute", which omits the second hand in favor of absolute classicism, the "Regulateur" which demonstrates a classical regulator dial with a subdial for the hour indication, and finally, the "Grande Date", which beautifully incorporates a large date display into the lower center of the dial. All of these exceptional Jaquet Droz watches are crafted exclusively in 18K gold and in a very small production capacity, often limited to just a handful for the world. They are offered in several dial variations, which show off the exceptional skills of Jaquet Droz in crafting dials that redefine the exotic --techniques such as "grande feu" enamelling, haute de gamme applique, or applique in conjunction with rare and exotic materials, such as meteorite, spectralite, or even exquisite flinque enamel find their expression here, and matched with the fire-blued steel hands, become objects of rare beauty. Animated exclusively by selfwinding mechanical movements which have received intricate decoration and refinement by skilled watchmakers, these Jaquet Droz timepieces uphold the reputation of the legendary creator whose name they bear.
