In 1875, Jules-Louis Audemars and Edward-Auguste Piguet, two young watchmakers from Le Brassus, decided to join forces. This was a partnership between two childhood friends who grew up with the same passion for fine watchmaking and an eagerness to invent mechanisms with the utmost in craftsmanship. Much has changed at the company yet it is still imbued with the same spirit. Audemars Piguet, which is still run by its founding families, combines horological tradition with the foremost expertise in watchmaking.
