The Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Safari is without a doubt one of the coolest watches in the Royal Oak collection. I owned one for a year and to this day regret ever selling it. It was my first “big” watch, and as someone with skinny wrists I struggled with the size….after too many years of wearing smaller (read Tag) SS automatics (and yes Quartz) watches I was not yet ready to appreciate the sacrifices required to be in the big watch club. Now every time I see an AP Offshore it makes me yearn for my Safari. If anyone out there was able to solve how to fit this monster on a skinny wrist then please reply to this post!
