While dive watches are not usually the kind which can be dressed up very well, there are the exceptions out there. One of the most sophisticated dive watches in current production is the Girard-Perregaux SeaHawk, which is a part of the company’s Sport Classique collection of timepieces. With the right dial and bracelet combination, you almost have to remind yourself that you are handling a diver’s instrument which is water resistant to 300 meters.

In polished and satin-finished stainless steel, the finishing of the Sea Hawk case and bracelet is superb, and looks incredibly sharp with dressier attire, particularly in concert with the most elegant dial combinations, such as the dark grey version which is pictured. While not a dress watch in the pure sense of the word, this highly sports capable watch has the luxurious finish, presence, and refinement to work with business suits just about as well as rubber wetsuits. I’m sure the fictional James Bond would be extremely impressed with the credentials of this versatile Girard-Perregaux timepiece.
