The Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX2 watch: An Amazing Chronograph Unlike Any Other

If you think you’ve owned or experienced it all when it comes to sports chronographs, think again. Look on the side of the watch case; no buttons! So how do you work it? Here’s where the incredible in-house JLC mechanical engineering comes in. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s gifted team of engineers and watchmakers envisioned a chronograph mechanism which is actually started, stopped and returned to zero by pressing on the crystal! Pressing it at the 12 o’clock position starts and stops the chronograph central hand, while a press at the 6 o’clock area resets it to zero. Jaeger-LeCoultre has even incorporated an ingenious selector mechanism that ensures that you don’t inadvertently operate anything unless you want to.

I think this watch is awesome, and one of the most remarkable chronographs not only of the modern era, but of all time.  Certainly a must have for any chronograph aficionado!

Eva Longoria Parker: Gorgeous, “dead” or alive

Here’s Eva looking pretty in a fuschia J. Mendel dress, nude Christian Louboutin heels and drop diamond earrings at the premiere of her new movie, Over Her Dead Body. In the film, Eva stars as a dead spirit haunting her ex-fiancee’s (Paul Rudd) new psychic girlfriend played by Lake Bell. “Dead” or alive, she always looks polished and radiant. Plus, she has great taste: at her wedding last year to San Antonio Spurs player Tony Parker, Eva was outfitted with gorgeous H. Stern 17 carat diamonds earrings and hair clips. The couple’s wedding bands were Piaget Possession bands in white gold, hers set with over 100 diamonds. Her bridesmaids wore H. Stern earrings and guests received Van Cleef and Arpels bracelets as gifts. She also sported Van Cleef jewels for the Screen Actors Guild Awards earlier this week. I’m no psychic, but I think Eva’s pretty happy that she’s still alive – and so are we.
