Kwiat Journey Diamond PendantThe diamond Journey pendant is a special pendant among the diamond pendants.  This unique pendant meanders back and forth to represent the path of your love, the path of your relationship journey with your special woman.  The diamond journey pendant is traditionally simple and features graduated diamonds (the diamonds at the top are small and then get bigger towards the bottom).

This particular Kwiat Journey diamond pendant is from the Stardust collection.  This collection takes inspiration from the tiny dust particles that make up the twinkling stars of the night sky.  This Kwiat pendant is set in white gold and features 0.04 tcw of diamonds.

  • Corum $20 Coin Watch: A Magnificent Combination Of Luxury And History

    Corum $20 Coin watch
The Corum $20 Coin Watch is certainly a dress watch of distinction, and more than that, a real conversation piece.  I was in my teens when I first encountered one, on the wrist of a family friend; a budding watch nut at the time, I couldn’t help but be extremely impressed by the way that Corum had made a watch out of a rare American gold coin.

Later on, I learned more about the history of this watch, and grew to appreciate it even more.  A favorite of American presidents (naturally enough!) since its introduction, the Corum $20 Coin watch case and dial is in fact, an actual American “Liberty Double Eagle” 22K gold coin, which was first struck in 1850 and minted for another 57 years afterward.   This opulent piece of Americana is carefully divided into two parts, meticulously relieved to accept a Frederic Piguet automatic movement, and then carefully rejoined in such a way that there is no evidence that any separation ever occurred.  The craftsmanship is absolutely beautiful, and the history of this rare coin–a foundation of the rapidly growing 19th century US economy–is fascinating.

When you strap this Corum watch on, or run your fingers over the Lady Liberty portrait on the back, you realize you are truly wearing a work of art–a creation of fine workmanship that captures a moment in history forever.

Chopard 100th Store on Madison Avenue and the Happy Apple CollectionTo commemorate the opening of the 100th Chopard retail store, Chopard unveiled a few special, limited edition pieces of jewelry and watches.  These pieces celebrate the spirit of New York and feature a diamond studded apple as the symbol of each piece.  Called the “Happy Apple” after the Big Apple and Chopard’s historic “Happy Diamond” collection, the collection includes one-of-a-kind with an array of vibrant and rich hewn colored stones such as the red sapphire, amethyst, and black diamonds (seen here in this image).  The pieces are meant to reflect the multifaceted nature of the city.  This collection was designed by co-sident and design president Caroline Gruois-Scheufele.

Men were not forgotten in this commemorative celebration.  Chopard introduced a limited edition series of the men’s Mille Miglia GT XL and L.U.C. XP watches featuring midnight blue dials and the New York City skyline engraved on the case back.

The 100th Chopard store, located at 709 Madison Avenue in Manhattan, was designed by noted French architect Thierry W. Despont.  The store is meant to feel like an expansive private home; it has white-oak wall panels and fixtures, velvet curtains and chairs, and a large fireplace.

Next time you are in the Big Apple, make a trip to the newest Chopard boutique and see these special limited edition pieces for yourself.

  • Bell & Ross scores again with the new BR 03-51 GMT watch

Bell & Ross BR 03-51 GMT watch
The new Bell & Ross BR 03-51 GMT watch looks like another surefire winner for this superb maker of sports timepieces.  Being that I particularly admire dual-time watches, I was definitely pleased to see Bell & Ross come out with this one.

The broad dial expanse of the BR 03 watch looks great in chronograph guise, so its no surprise that it handles the second time zone display with ease and lack of clutter. The placement of the secondary time zone display is excellent, and it keeps everything in a straight line, descending from the large date indicator at twelve o’clock.  This is a very clean look, and it shows off the pretty carbon fiber dial surface with minimal visual interference.

The slight touch of orange on the secondary hour display is another appealing element that just adds a certain casual charm to the overall design.  I don’t doubt that this new addition to the Bell & Ross watch lineup will be received with enthusiasm by the brand’s very enthusiastic fans.

  • TAG Heuer Aquagraph watch: Uncompromising Diver’s Tool

    TAG Heuer Aquagraph watch
The dive watch is certainly one of the most popular genres within the mechanical watch realm.  Collectors and enthusiasts really enjoy the super water resistance and durability of these timepieces—much like a Hummer H1, or a Mercedes-Benz Geländewagen, you might never need the capabilities these watches offer, but its nice to know that your watch can likely survive the kind of harrowing ordeals that you may not be able to.

One of the most functional and purpose-built luxury dive timepieces made today is the TAG Heuer Aquagraph watch.  Unlike some so-called dive watches which seem to concede more to fashion than function, this TAG Heuer watch was created to be a professionals instrument, first and foremost.  Not only is the watch equipped with a screw-locked back and screw-down crown that permits it to be water resistant to 500 meters, it also offers a chronograph function that is fully operable underwater to the full warranted depth.  This rare detail is noteworthy, and to go along, the chronograph has been modified specifically to offer a diver real utility; instead of a tiny, hard-to-read subdial, this elapsed minutes function is shown via a clever centrally mounted triangle-tipped luminous hand that makes it super easy to read off those critical minutes.   The unidirectional bezel is also designed in an uncompromising way; the “Autolock” mechanism ensures that it won’t move unless the diver specifically intends it to do so.  Visibility–absolutely essential for a diver’s instrument–is also outstanding.

I think the Aquagraph watch is one of the finest wrist instruments TAG Heuer has come up with yet, and that’s saying something, as this brand has devoted itself to the sports watch for a long time.  Whether you like it for its cool technical features, its attractive instrumental design, or because you need an uncompromising dive tool, the TAG Heuer Aquagraph watch should serve you well.

Michael Kors Gold NecklaceIf you are looking for an exotic, luxurious gold necklace, then you will definately want to check out this Michael Kors Gold Necklace. This necklace is remniscent of the ancient Egyption necklaces and chest pieces worn by the kings and queens. The added detail of this necklace is the darker spot at the bottom of the oval — it attracts the eye right to it. This Michael Kors necklace is adjustable so that you can make sure it sits at the right place on your neck.
