This month’s issue of Elle magazine features a shopline – that’s right, a timeline of shopping and collection releases for spring.

MARCH 1 – 7

March 1 – 2 are the last days of the Barney’s biannual warehouse sale in New York. Everything from from shoes to designer dresses have reduced prices.

Hit up GAP and Old Navy, where markdowns are often done on Tuesday night and biweekly (usually hitting floors on Mondays), respectively.

Have you seen the new Marc Jacobs shoe? Trippy, right? But still a cool heel! Grab up your Marc Jacobs’ backward heel shoes in stores this week.

Burberry launches their first jewelry collection featuring metal detailing, multichains and Celtic studs in stores this week.

March 20

Banana Republic opens its first European flagship store on London’s Regent Street.

March 24 – 31

Miu Miu opens its Beverly Hills Rodeo Drive store this week.

Fashionista NY begins hosting its ample-sale shopping event every two weeks throughout the year. Fashionista NY sells Cavalli, Blu marine and others.

APRIL 1 – 7

April 3, be in San Diego! Sassy City CHicks Fashion Bash – a girls day-out event with discoutned fashions from more than 75 designers, plus goodie bags and giveaways happens in sunny San Diego.

Hats off to Coach as the legendary label debuts a collection of hats from the mistress of millenary Eugenia Kim.

Mega retailer Target launches a new line called Go International – a line that mirrors its hip collaborations. Go International is available in between brand name collection releases.

Swimsuit time is upon us this month! Look to swimsuit guru Malia Mills for limited edition demin swimsuits. Don’t worry, she designs for all body types, including yours !

APRIL 15

Call Calvin Klein NOW to get on his waitlist for his Fall Collection set to be released to stores in mid-August. Call 212-292-9000.

MAY 1 – 10

Yves St. Laurent prefall line now available. Fashion Elements’ sample sale gotofem.com is on in LA.

MAY 9 – 10

Head to Dallas for the Billion Dollar Babes invite-only sample sale. Designers like Rebecca Taylor, Sass & Bide and Tocca are slated to participate.

MAY 11 – 17

Look for the following happening in MY this week: Earnet Sewn’s, Steven Alan Showroom’s biannual and Betsey Johnson’s spring sample sales.

MAY 18 – 23

Highly anticipated Zac Posen designs like the Adagio dress, his Pirouette blouse and all of the rest of his treasures, hit stores.

The News, the renowned NYC downtown showroom, hosts its sample sale with chic labels like Cheap Monday.

MAY 24 – 26

Henri Bendel hosts its annual Memorial Day Sale.

JUNE 1 – 7 A Busy Week By Far !

Jill Stuart on sale, United Bamboo biannual sample sale, and Anna Sui’s in-store markdowns.

New York’s Seamless Showroom hosts its annual sample sale, set to include designers like Alisha Levine, J. Lo’s Sweetface love and Grace Sun’s dresses.

Donna Karan in-store sale and Tracy Reese sample sale both in NY.

Nicholas Ghesquiere designs are within an arms reach when spring fashions from Balenciaga go on sale – sorry, bags not included!

JUNE 8 – 14

The Clothingline showroom in NY hosts a sample sale of socialite-turned-designer Tory Burch.

JUNE 22 – 30

Prada’s fall ready-to-wear collections begins hitting stores nationwide.
