    Chronoswiss Timemaster 24H watch
On the search for a stylish yet unusual watch for weekends–perhaps something to wear over a leather jacket while riding your favorite motorcycle? A superb watch that fits this scenario perfectly is the Timemaster 24H watch, from Chronoswiss. Utilizing a bold 44mm version of the distinctive case that is so associated with Chronoswiss timepieces, the Timemaster is large and easy to read with its brilliantly luminous large dial. The massive onion-style crown, inspired by the timepieces which aviators and motorcar enthusiasts wore in the early 20th century, makes it child’s play to operate the watch even with thick gloves on.

In truth, any of the timepieces within the Chronoswiss Timemaster watch collection are ideal for such recreational situations, but the 24H model pictured above is particularly attractive in my opinion, with its distinctive Military (24-hour) Time readout, which is an interesting departure from the typical, classic 12-hour display of most watches. While this type of display takes just a bit of getting used to for many, it quickly becomes second nature; its quirkiness somehow goes hand in hand with the handsome yet decidedly individualistic spirit of the Timemaster design.

    • i am concerned that the light coloured hour and minute hand will “disappear” during the evening/night zone.one colour best here i think. the 24 should read 00 and be paced topside as it allows second hand hack set at normal 12 hour watch twelve o clock. This i think is due to it being dark during the night and the night sky appears above us. am i too harsh??
