Bedat & Co has mastered the ability to create watches with real visual appeal–they’ve shown it already with their many tantalizing creations, and they continue to go forth with unabated strength. The new Bedat Ref. 307 watch is a great example of this, taking the elegant tonneau form and bringing to a fresh breath of creativity. 

More compressed than many tonneau-shaped watches on the market, the case design really draws the eye to the dial, which is rich with sophisticated details.  Particularly striking is the large 8 numeral, which was certainly not chosen accidentally (in Chinese numerology, 8 is synonymous with good luck and prosperity).  Symbolism aside, the single large numeral looks great and brings this watch an idiosyncratic charm, a quality that each Bedat & Co watch manifests in some way.
