Penelope Cruz in Vicky Cristina Barcelona – A Chopard Fanatic?

Here is the lovely Penelope Cruz at the Los Angeles premiere of her new movie Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the latest Woody Allen film co-starring Scarlett Johansson, Rebecca Hall and Javier Bardem. The film follows two friends, Johansson and Hall, on a trip to Spain, where they become interested in the same painter, who has a mysterious and rumored-to-be-dangerous past with his ex-wife, played by Cruz.
From the scenes in the trailer, it looks like Cruz will be a scene stealer, and that is a trait that is not exclusive to the big screen when it comes to this fiery actress. The Los Angeles premiere gave Cruz plenty of time to shine in her floor length Herve Leroux dress accessorized with Chopard earrings and bracelet. Seems like Cruz is a Chopard fan, garnishing her outfits with the brand’s luxurious diamond jewelry at several red carpet events this year, including at the Berlin Film Festival, where she wore dangle diamond earrings with her L’Wren Scott dress. Cruz also chose the designer jewels for her Academy Awards ensemble last year and this year, paired with a champagne Atelier Versace gown and a Chanel Couture black number, respectively. Cruz also donned Chopard – 61 carats total on a diamond bracelet, ring and set of earrings – to the Cannes Film Festival premiere for the film, possibly inspiring co-star Hall to compliment Cruz with her own 174-carat Chopard diamond bracelet.
