The IWC Big Ingenieur – “Engineered for Men”, Without A Doubt!
Posted on November 28th, 2008 No comments
“Engineered for Men”, is a slogan which often accompanies advertisements for IWC watches–an additional reminder (if you needed one) that the product of the Schaffhausen-based brand have serious masculine appeal. With that in mind, few luxury watches are designed as much for the Y-Chromosome as is the IWC Big Ingenieur. -

Posted on November 25th, 2008 No comments
Since its recent revival, the Romulus watch collection has been one of my favorites from the house of Corum. I love the stately, deeply engraved Roman figures in the bezel, and the classic, luxurious overall impression these models give. With the introduction of its Romulus Perpetual Calendar, Corum has upped the ante of horological complexity, and produced what is in my opinion the finest Romulus thus far. Continue Reading… » -

Among the Pre-SIHH 2009 news which starting to trickle out, is word that Panerai will bring forth a new, titanium version of its Luminor Chrono Daylight 44mm. Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Survivor: Sure To Induce Collector Mania!

The Audemars Piguet Offshore collection never fails to amaze me with its continual ability to keep collectors salivating. As soon as a watch fan gets his or her hands on a particularly rare model (for example, the forged carbon Team Alinghi, or the Juan Pablo Montoya) Audemars Piguet will bring out something novel that manages to be even more spectacular or sought after. The Royal Oak Offshore has been around for well over a decade, and yet, we see a tireless evolution in materials and variances in the basic design concept that keep excitement fresh. Louis Moinet Magistralis: Over-The-Moon Spectacular

The Louis Moinet Magistralis is a fantastic new addition to the world of exclusive haute horlogerie. The Magistralis, which ViaLuxe first reported on back in June, is remarkable for several reasons.
