There’s few superlatively fine luxury watches you can purchase today that better capture the antiquarian delight of watch mechanics than those in Breguet’s Tradition collection. Its all subjective of course, but when I see these timepieces–for example the Tradition Handwound–I feel I’ve discovered a pleasant time-warp to Abraham-Louis Breguet’s 19th century Paris workshop, where the fabled “Marie Antoinette”, and other singular masterpieces of the watchmaking craft took form.
