de Grisogono Upgraded to Larger Booth at BaselWorld
Posted on April 4th, 2008 No comments
A BaselWorld participant since 2000, de Grisogono received a bigger and better booth this year in which to display its fine watches and exotic luxury. And, by “bigger,” I mean massively impressive. Just like their style of jewelry, the de Grisogono booth is bold, daring, attractive and even intimidating – but in a good way. The booth measures 1837 square feet and is located on level E 03 of the first floor of Hall 1.1. Sitting atop a massive structure of 8792 square feet of wood and 590 square feet of glass, the booth weighs 30 tons (66,150 pounds!) and required a team of 34 people to construct it.
The facade of the booth evokes black diamonds inlaid with white diamonds – a theme de Grisogono uses often in their jewelry – by embellishing it with 960 small incandescent light.
The new de Grisogono booth must look like a massive black and white sparkling diamond – no coincidence, of course!

Pretty in Pink and Fuschia – Pink Spring Fashion Trend
Posted on April 2nd, 2008 No comments
One of the spring seasons most alluring and intriguing fashion trenda is the Pink Fashion Trend and Fuschia Fashion trend.A few years back we saw light pink and black become the ‘it’ colors for spring. For me, that color and fashion trend reminded me of the 1950s where pink poodles skirts with black poodles were the rave. That season we saw an updated version of this same fashion trend. The popular cuts were sailor necklines and full A-line skirts, polka dots galore and black suit sets with light pink stripes. These were fabulous fashions of which I fully partook.
Now, as we look to this spring, pink is back – and in a novel and bold manner. Pink will come in a range of hues and tones including tea rose pink, salmon pink, rose pink, magenta pink, dark pink, thulian pink, fuschia pink, carmine pink and more. With so much pink blossoming up, you will want to add this color to your jewelry collection as well.
Here we have a Chopard “So Happy” ring (left) featuring 3 floating diamonds inside a pink gemstone with a diamond trim all mounted on an 18k yellow gold shank. The Chopard So Happy hearts collection is a playful and colorful assortment of heart pendants featuring the signature floating diamonds. Given the bright hue of this pink ring, try this wear with light pink or even tea rose pink clothes for a stunning contrast.
The de Grisogono ring features an enchanting pink coral – a stone not commonly used in luxury jewelry – with a shank of pave pink sapphires and brown sapphires. De Grisogono is known for creating limited edition jewelry of incredible, unusual and exotic designs. With the brown diamonds, this de Grisogono ring lends itself to being worn with clothes that incorporate rich browns and golds.
A myriad of designer luxury jewelers create fantastic jewelry using pink gemstones like pink sapphires, pink diamonds, pink tourmaline and pink coral.
Browse our catalogs or better yet search “pink” to view all of the pink jewelry to wear with your Pink Spring Fashion Trend and Fuschia Spring Fashion Trend.

For subdued luxury and just the right amount of sparkle, turn to this de Grisogono necklace. This necklace has a rose gold chain with small, round diamond charms at intervals which alternate sides. The diamonds will naturally and automatically fall to the right and left. Pair this necklace with a rose gold bracelet or rose gold earrings, or for a different look pair this necklace with a completely unexpected piece of luxury jewelry. Perhaps, pair the necklace with black jewelry, such as black diamonds and red rubies. In addition, this is a perfect necklace because of its amazing versatility; it will take you from the office to evening activities easily.
This de Grisogono necklace is by far one of their most classically standard jewelry designs. Peruse the rest of de Grisogono jewelry to see their more exotic and flamboyant pieces.

de Grisogono Earrings – Black Diamond and White Diamond Drop Earrings
Posted on March 11th, 2008 No comments
These de Grisogono earrings exude sophisticated extravagance and bold elegance.Never a company to create typical jewelry designs, de Grisogono likes to walk on the slightly wild side of jewelry.
De Grisogono designs are refreshing and provide a new perspective on classic designs. Take these earrings for example. These earrings are lovely black diamond (18.20 carats) and white diamond (20.55 carats) drop earrings which remind me of the exquisite magnificence of the Roaring Twenties. However, de Grisogono adds a twist to these earrings, as is done to many of the pieces. In these earrings, the drop ball are of different diamond colors: one is white, and the other is black. With this asymmetrical design, even more attention is focused on the earring, and thus the eye focuses more on the face.
These de Grisogono earrings are perfect for a night at the opera or ballet, a formal dinner or evening event like a charity gala, and a grand occasion such as a wedding.

De Grisogono Pendant – de Grisogono Turquoise and Diamond Pendant
Posted on March 10th, 2008 No comments
De Grisogono knows how to make unexpected and spectacular jewelry, like this turquoise and diamond pendant, which features 12.50 total carats of turquoise gemstones. The surprising part of this piece is the versatility it brings on both sides. There is an elaborate intricate cut out on one side that lets the turquoise peek through, while the other side concentrates more on stone shapes of turquoise outlined by pave diamonds totaling one carat in weight. With an easy flip of the necklace, this de Grisogono turquoise and diamond pendant can transform an outfit from bold and beautiful to intricate and thoughtful. Yet another clever and fabulous piece by de Grisogono. -
