Henry Graves Jr. would surely be pleased. The Cartier Tortue Minute Repeater is just the sort of watch the reclusive early 20th century banking magnate and art collector would have added to his astounding collection of extraordinary bespoke timepieces. In fact, it looks a great deal like a beautiful tonneau-shaped platinum minute repeating wristwatch which Patek Philippe made to order in 1928 for the distinguished collector. -

Edward Norton Turns Green – The Incredible Hulk
Posted on June 13th, 2008 No comments
Edward Norton, better known for his roles in Fight Club, The Italian Job and more recently, The Illusionist, is careful when he picks projects, and has appeared in a myriad of movies that are off the mainstream path. A celebrity well known as a philanthropist and environmentalist, Norton has made an important partnership with Cartier, with the brand’s green Love bracelets, which benefited the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust. He supports BP’s Solar Neighbors program, as well as being an activist for low income communities and other social activist organizations. Perhaps it is fitting for Norton to portray a role in which his character turns green, as he is actively representing alternative energy and ecological causes, but let’s hope that every person who is living green, doesn’t turn into The Hulk! -
