i have both the sub and explorer 2. both made in 1989. both still maintain their accuracy with the sub being serviced 15 years ago and the exp 2 never. i interchange them depending on my mood and what im getting into but when i scuba the sub takes precedence. i swimm laps 2hrs or more a day and have used both, with no water breach. due to the nature of my profession and my extra curricular acitvities ive had to recently change the bezel on the sub w/c finaly wore out. the bezel "pearl" was cracked and it was difficult to turn and had lost all its "click". both watches have a combined age of 40 years and show no signs of quitting. the best part is if i ever sold them i could probably get twice as much as i paid for them. back then they cost me 1800 USD for the sub and 1500 usd for the exp 2. bravo rolex! BRAVO!

As a AD for UN, much to my suprise, this model has been very well rec'd. For a 45mm size case it is very light and I must say very stunning! For the more conservative pocked book, this new model is an excellent option to the all 18K rose gold on rubber strap.
