Cartier unveiled the Ballon bleu de Cartier Flying Tourbillon in early 2008--its first timepiece to feature a movement bearing the coveted Geneva Seal. This Cartier watch is animatd by a 9452 MC calibre manual-winding movement comprising of 142 parts and 19 jewels. With exceptional timekeeping precision, the Cartier Ballon bleu de Cartier Flying Tourbillon features a 46mm case in 18k pink gold, a circular-grained crown set with a sapphire cabochon and a transparent case-back of sapphire crystal. The dial is galvanic, slate colored guilloche with a sunray open worked grid showing Roman numerals and blued-steel hands. Each Ballon bleu Flying Tourbillon has a brown alligator strap with dual adjustment folding clasp in pink gold and boasts a power reserve of 50 hours.
