Audemars Piguet To Sponsor Michael Strahan Charity Golf Tournament

Audemars Piguet will be the lead sponsor for the 2008 Michael Strahan/Dreier LLP Charity Golf Tournament.  This event, hosted by New York Giants legend Michael Strahan and the law firm of Dreier LLP, supports the children's charities Children's Rights, which focuses on neglected and abused children in the United States, and Keep A Child Alive, an organization which supplies medicine and care for AIDS-afflicted children in Africa.  

Guests at this year's event will be treated to a private concert at Tao Restaurant  in New York City on Sunday evening, June 29 by Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys, as well as an auction of sports mementos by Michael Strahan.  The celebrity golf tournament will commence the following morning at 11:00AM, at the Century Country Club in Purchase, NY to feature both current and former star athletes from a variety of sports, including football, basketball, hockey, and baseball.  Among the many athletes participating in the tournament include Marcus Allen, Julius Erving, Mario Lemieux, Ahmad Rashad, John Kruk, Ozzie Smith, and Darryl Strawberry.

In 2007, the Michael Strahan Charity Golf Tournament succeeded in generating over $300,000 for children's charities.
