Limited Edition Audemars Piguet Watch Supports Ladycat Sailing Team and Women's Health Issues

Audemars Piguet has introduced a new, limited edition Offshore timepiece for women.  Created to honor the all-female sailing team "Ladycat", and its philanthropic leader Dona Bertarelli Späth, the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Ladycat chronograph watch features a 37mm stainless steel case, a diamond-set bezel, and the use of distinctive pink rubber elements on the bezel, mega tapisserie dial, and the strap.

The introduction of this special watch also commemorates the opening of a new Audemars Piguet boutique in the Gstaad Grand Hotel Boutique, who is partnering with Audemars Piguet in the sponsorship of the Ladycat sailing team.  Only 150 numbered examples of this watch will be manufactured.  The Ladycat sailing team, under the leadership of Ms. Bertarelli Späth, seeks to utilize the sport of yachting to highlight the issue of cardiovascular disease in women.  Audemars Piguet proudly supports this effort, and shares involvement in the "Go Red for Women" campaign, which seeks to raise public awareness concerning this significant health situation affecting women.  The striking color combinations of this special Offshore watch are a tribute to the characteristic fuchsia and black scheme of the Décision 35 Ladycat catamaran.
