The Edward Piguet Watch Collection of Audemars Piguet

Audemars Piguet is one of the oldest and most exclusive manufacturer of fine swiss timepieces. Audemars Piguet, or AP as they are known to collectors, manufactures five main collections of watches: Edward Piguet, Jules Audemars, Millenary, Royal Oak and Promesse.

The Edward Piguet collection is named in honor of Edward Piguet, a founder of Audemars Piguet. The Edward Piguet watch features a distinctive and classic looking rectangular case. AP offers the Edward Piguet in four variations: Automatic, Chronograph, Perpetual Calendar, and Tourbillon.

The automatic version comes with a sweep second hand, small date window at three o’clock and is available in white, pink or rose gold. AP offers the automatic with an Arabic dial on guilloche, and a more retro looking Arabic version without guilloche. The chronograph version of the Edward Piguet watch has a more complex dial that is available in white, black or gray with the small date window offset at five o’clock.

The perpetual calendar version is a very elegant timepiece with a single crown to set the hours and minutes and two indented pushers on the left side of the case to set the day, date, month and moonphase. If you seek a truly complicated fine timepiece then consider the Edward Piguet Tourbillon. This Tourbillon is only available in a manual wind and is offered in platinum, rose gold, pink gold and white gold.
