SIHH 2008: Panerai Ferrari Granturismo 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante GMT Watch, FER 00020

The Panerai-Ferrari Granturismo 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante watch (Ref FER 00020) features a 45mm cushion shaped case, whose contours are refined by numerous contrasts between brushed and polished surfaces. The black dial, which features a tachymeter scale and red accents, displays a chronograph 30-minute counter, a power reserve scale, and an AM/PM indicator.  Sapphire crystals are fitted to both sides of the timepiece, and water resistance is rated at 100 meters.  

Movement for the Panerai-Ferrari 8 Days Chrono Monopulsante watch is the manufacture Panerai P.2004 caliber.  Controlled by a column-wheel, the chronograph features a mono-push system.  In addition, the 24-hour GMT hand with a day/night indicator enables the wearer to track a second timezone.  Three mainspring barrels in this manually wound caliber enable an 8-day power reserve .  

The watch is fitted with an alligator strap, which is constructed with contrasting red stitching and a red caiman leather inside lining.  A spare rubber strap with the incised Ferrari logo is also supplied.
