Basel 2008: Breguet Classique Chronograph Watch With Enamel Dial

The Breguet Classique Chronograph watch (Ref. 5247BR/29/9V6) features a 39mm case crafted from 18K rose gold; characteristics of this case include a finely fluted caseband and a polished bezel. Notably, the thin strap lugs are soldered to the case, and feature screwed bars that hold the strap.  The most striking aesthetic element of the Classique Chronograph watch is its magnificent 'Grand Feu' enamel dial. The result of painstaking work by master artisans, the creation of each dial entails multiple kiln firings at a temperature of approximately 800-degrees Celsius.  The dial features a spiral tachymeter scale in the center rendered in red enamel, and stylized Arabic numerals in black enamel at the hour markers; the traditional Breguet "secret signature" is also present.  The central chronograph hand is strikingly rendered in red, while the hour, minute, and chronograph subdial hands are blued.  

Breguet's 533.3 Calibre animates the Classique Chronograph.  Meticulously adjusted in six positions, this hand-wound movement has a 48-hour power reserve, and a balance wheel frequency of 21,600 alternations per hour.  A sapphire crystal caseback reveals the caliber's fine workmanship and luxurious decorations.  

The Breguet Classique Chronograph watch is completed by a crocodile leather strap and a rose gold buckle.  An 18K white gold version is also offered, and both metal colors are also available in versions with engine-turned silvered gold dials.
