Glashutte Original has presented a special, limited series of its complex, technically demanding PanoMaticChrono watch. Characterized by a 44mm satin-finished platinum case and a striking Navy Blue dial with a carbon fiber pattern, this Glashutte Original timepiece is destined for only a handful of collectors: worldwide, just 100 pieces will be offered. The movement is the self-winding Caliber 95, a masterful creation of German haute horlogerie manufactured by Glashutte Original. This inventive and aesthetically elaborate chronograph caliber is controlled by a column wheel, and features a chronograph with a flyback function; additionally, it also incorporates the panorama date feature. The ingenious bi-lateral winding mechanism utilizes a step gear which optimizes winding motion to the activity level of its wearer. A sapphire crystal allows a full view of the richly decorated movement, whose many eye-catching elements include blued-steel screws, bridges with ribbing decoration, and jewels mounted in gold chatons.
The Glashutte Original PanoMaticChrono Navy Blue watch is fitted with a blue calfskin strap embossed with a carbon fiber pattern to match the dial. The timepiece is water resistant to 50 meters.
