The Patek Philippe Aquanaut Luce watch line for ladies has been enriched with a new haute joaillerie variation for 2008. The 35.2mm 18K white gold case is set with 387 round brilliant diamonds, with the folding clasp being set with an additional 86 diamonds; the crown features a single round brilliant diamond, which is mounted culet up. The seductive "Honey Beige" Aquanaut Luce joins the existing "Pure White", and "Mysterious Black" variants; the evocative names are inspired by the colors of the tropical rubber straps and embossed grid-pattern dials. Each Patek Philippe Ref. 5069G watch is equipped with a screw-down winding crown, and is water resistant to 120 meters.
These precious Aquanaut Luce timepieces are animated by the self-winding 330 SC caliber movement. Produced by Patek Philippe, this prestigious mechanism is composed of 217 hand-finished parts, and offers a maximum power reserve of 48 hours. In addition to the hours and minutes, the caliber features sweep seconds and a date display. A sapphire crystal window in the caseback reveals the refined details of the 330SC caliber, which has earned the prestigious Geneva Seal. The 21K gold central rotor features a Cotes Circulaires decorative pattern, and is engraved with the Calatrava Cross--the famous symbol of Patek Philippe.
