The Patek Philippe Ref. 5070P chronograph watch measures 42mm in diameter; a single Top Wesselton diamond is set elegantly between the caselugs.  This exclusive detail, found only on Patek Philippe's platinum watches, emphasizes the rarity and desirability of the timepieces the brand crafts in this most precious of metals.  The beautiful soleil-effect blue dial features a tachymeter scale, and a chronograph 30-minute counter and small seconds subdial.  The elegant leaf-shaped hands and applied Arabic hour markers are crafted from polished white gold.

The exceptional CH 27-70 caliber animates the Patek Philippe Ref. 5070P chronograph.  This pedigreed, hand-wound chronograph caliber is a special execution of Nouvelle Lemania, that is supplied exclusively to Patek Philippe, who then modifies the caliber further in accordance with their demanding standards.  The resulting movement satisfies the strict aesthetic and quality standards of the Geneva Seal.  Comprised of 208 hand-finished pieces, this horizontally-coupled chronograph is governed by a column-wheel.  Power reserve is 60 hours.  The free-sprung Gyromax balance wheel oscillates at the traditional rate of 18,000 alternations per hour.  

A blue crocodile strap completes the Patek Philippe Ref. 5070P chronograph, along with a folding clasp in platinum.  The watch is equipped with sapphire crystals on both front and back and is water resistant to 30 meters.
