Baselworld 2009: Patek Philippe Ladies Nautilus Watches, Ref. 7010 & Ref. 7011
By Adam Keith, Associate Timepiece Editor for ViaLuxe-

Patek Philippe has updated their Nautilus timepiece collection for 2009 and once again, women can enjoy the beauty and versatility of this elegantly sporty luxury watch icon.  Compared to the previous ladies Nautilus watch (Ref. 4700) these revised models feature an enlarged 32mm case and silvered or anthracite dials that showcase a horizontal line motif that has become part of the contemporary Nautilus identity.

The Patek Philippe Ladies Nautilus watches, Ref. 7010 and Ref. 7011 are to be offered in 18-karat white or pink gold.  In addition to the classical vertically brushed finish--the result of painstaking hand finishing--the eight-sided porthole bezel is also available set with 46 round brilliant diamonds (0.73 carat t.w.)  Crafted from white or pink gold, the bracelet follows the characteristic design theme of other Nautilus models, with a brushed outer link, and a curved polished center link suggestive of a polished pebble.  A triple-deployant clasp ensures a secure closure on the wrist.   Both references feature sapphire crystals, and are water resistant to 60 meters.

The new Patek Philippe Ladies Nautilus watches are animated by the battery-powered E 23 SC quartz caliber, which has a stop seconds function, and a rapidly adjustable date display.
