Breguet High Jewellery Watch Collection
BaselWorld is an incredible mingling of luxury watches luxury jewelry: international brands from both industries introduce and showcase their treasures in grand booths (more like temporary flagship stores).
The co-mingling of watches and jewelry is only indicative of the co-mingling happening with the products themselves: high-jewellery watches. This emerging trend, while not new, has picked up with a tour d'force appeal and energy recently. More and more brands are hearing the demand for these high-jewellery watches - which marry art, design, a watch and jewelry all into the same luxury piece - and are responding with an ever-growing collection.

Breguet released its grand collection of High Jewellery watches at BaselWorld - it easily impresses and will surely become immediate prized possessions. Images of the collection were released in sketch form (seen here) with their full glory to be seen in the near future. Dedicated to culture and history, and an ode to women and feminine sensitivity, the new additions to the collection pay tribute to the splendor of Versailles and the delicate style of Queen Marie Antoinette, especially the gardens of the palace, while honoring the spirit and values of the House of Breguet.

The Breguet Marie-Antoinette Fleurs watch seen here is reminiscent of the Versailles gardens. Featuring the Reine de Naples case, this watch further enhances the already breathtaking collection with its precious stones creating a dazzling orchid flower of various shades of pink diamonds. The dial is 18 carat silvered gold with a natural mother-of-pearl overlay with an off-centered cha[ter ring with Breguet Arabic numerals. The diamonds are all TW/IF-VVS color and quality. The white gold case with pave diamonds delicately and securely holds within it the concealed self-winding mechanism - the Breguet caliber 586 - adding to the overall crown achievement and majesty of this lavishly ornamented Breguet High Jewellery watch.
