Pre-Basel 2008: Corum Admirals Cup Split-Seconds Chronograph
Back
Mar 6, 2008

Corum will bring the prestigious split-seconds chronograph complication to their popular Admiral's Cup timepiece collection. The Corum Admiral's Cup Challenge 44 Split-Seconds Chronograph watch will feature a 44mm diameter 18K rose gold case, a carbon fiber bezel, and a crown guard accented by sporty rubber elements. The black lacquered dial bears the iconic nautical pennants on its flange, and the chronograph subdials are rimmed with 18K gold. The watch is fitted with a crocodile strap and a matching rose gold buckle.
This new Corum Admiral's Cup watch is animated by a 31-jewel automatic mechanical movement which has obtained COSC certification; the chronograph offers both a 12-hour and 30-minute counter, as well as continually running subsidiary seconds. The split-seconds chronograph function is activated by the push-piece located on the case between eight and nine o'clock.
