SIHH 2008: Panerai-Ferrari Scuderia 10 Days GMT Watch, FER 00022

The Panerai-Ferrari Scuderia 10 Days GMT watch (Ref. FER 00022) features a 45mm polished and brushed cushion shaped case, a knurled crown decorated with the Ferrari prancing horse, and sapphire crystals on both front and back.  The black dial features a numbered rehaut, and sporty yellow accents; the Scuderia Ferrari shield is featured prominently at 12 o'clock. Indications include date (at 3), a power reserve indicator (at 6), and an AM/PM indicator along with subsidiary seconds (at 9). They yellow-tipped central hand gives a second timezone in 24-hour format.  Water resistance is 100 meters.  

Ticking inside the Scuderia 10 Days GMT 45mm watch is the Panerai P.2005/3 movement.  Conceived and manufactured by Panerai, this self-winding movement features a 10-day power reserve, the energy for which is stored in three mainspring barrels.  In addition, the movement features a power reserve complication, subsidiary seconds, the date, and a 24-hour GMT display with a day/night indicator.  

The watch is fitted with a calfskin strap that features contrasting stitching and a caiman lining.  The folding clasp is in brushed stainless steel, with polished edges.  A spare rubber strap with the incised Ferrari logo is also supplied.
