SIHH 2008: Panerai PAM00315 Radiomir Titanium Tourbillon GMT Watch
Back
Apr 9, 2008
The Panerai Radiomir Titanium Tourbillon GMT watch (Ref PAM00315) features a brushed 48mm cushion-shaped titanium case, a polished bezel, and a convex sapphire crystal. The dial has a sandwich construction, luminous hour figures, and a pink gold rehaut. The strap is crafted from alligator leather and fitted with a titanium buckle. Movement is the Panerai P2005 caliber, which is designed and manufactured by Panerai. This manually wound movement offers a 24-hour GMT display, and has a six-day power reserve, thanks to a system of three mainspring barrels; the reserve is shown on an indicator on the reverse side of the watch. The tourbillon offers two unique technical aspects; first, the cage completes two revolutions per minute (rather than one), and its axis of rotation is parallel to the base of the movement at right angles to the axis of oscillation of the balance.
Each of these Panerai watches is fitted with an alligator strap and a large brushed titanium buckle.
