Bedat & Co's tonneau-shaped Ref. 384 watch has been one of the Swiss brand's most enduring successes over the past twelve years. For 2009, Bedat & Co expands this supremely elegant collection of feminine timepieces with new variations accentuated by the sublime beauty of Imperial Topaz or garnet vanadium.
The gracefully waisted tonneau case of these Bedat & Co Ref. 384 watches are crafted from stainless steel. Dials display an Art Deco-inspired arrangement of expressive Roman numerals, with the Bedat & Co logo discreetly serving as the 8 o'clock hour marker. Satin straps are carefully selected to match the character of the stones which adorn the case. The Imperial Topaz variation is matched with a strap in a soft shade of pink, while the subtle chameleon color-change properties of garnet vanadium is paired with a strap in light green. In both models, the timepiece is joined securely to the wrist via a tang buckle in polished stainless steel.
Both watches are animated by battery-controlled Swiss quartz movements. In the manner of all Bedat & Co creations, these timepieces are accompanied by a 5-year warranty and an A.O.S.C. certificate (Appellation Luxury d'Origine Suisse Certifiee). This latter certification assures the Swiss origin of the various components and the expertise behind their creation.
