Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback Chronograph watch

The Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback chronograph watch is a magnificently crafted example of haute horologerie that demonstrates Blancpain's well known mastery within the field of elite complications. The perpetual calendar, and the split-seconds chronograph are both among the most prestigious complications in the repertoire of classical watchmaking, and in uniting them both within a single watch, Blancpain has produced a masterpiece.

The heart of the Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback Chronograph watch is the selfwinding 56F9A Calibre.  This complex mechanism, which comprises 466 parts, features a perpetual calendar that indicates day of the week, date, month, and the proper leap year cycle, as well as phases of the moon.

The chronograph complication is no less impressive; by pushing the button that is co-axial with the crown, the secondary split seconds hand can be activated, enabling the timing of two separate events. This remarkable complication has been further enriched by a flyback function, enabling the primary chronograph hand to be reset to zero without any need to first stop it.

In addition to its complexity, the 56F9A Calibre which animates the Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback Chronograph watch is extremely refined; its bridges are intricately decorated with Cotes de Geneve, anglage, and perlage.  The rotor, made from gold, is also richly finished, and bears the signature of the maker.

The Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback Chronograph watch has the refinement and classicism to match its technical sophistication. Presented in a stately 42mm case crafted from platinum or 18K red gold, with a crocodile strap and a deployant buckle in platinum or gold, the Blancpain Le Brassus Perpetual Calendar Split-Seconds Flyback Chronograph watch makes a statement of elegant luxury upon the wrist.

The dial, boasting a fine opaline finish, is completed by beautiful leaf-shaped hands and fine Roman numerals, both crafted from highly polished gold.  For those who desire something particularly striking, Blancpain also offers this distinguished watch in a platinum version with a sporty black Arabic dial, its bezel crowned with a sparkling circle of diamonds.
