Pre-Baselworld 2009: Bulgari Bulgari-Bulgari Moon Phase Watch

Bulgari's flagship watch collection, the iconic "Bulgari-Bulgari" line with the famous double signature on its bezel, is expanded in 2009 with a sumptuous women's model that unites the opulence of diamonds and mother of pearl with a prestigious watchmaking complication.

Presented in a 38mm case produced from polished stainless steel, the Bulgari Bulgari-Bulgari Moon Phase watch captures the essence of an elegant evening, its seduction provided by a charming rotating indicator that depicts the phases of the moon.  This complication advances in tiny increments through the month to track the movement of earth's neighbor, and appears against a background of shimmering mother of pearl.  The wave-pattern guilloche in the center offers a counterpoint of fine detail that blends gracefully with a large crescent-shaped field of pave-set round brilliant diamonds.  A subdial at 6 o'clock displays subsidiary seconds.  These varied functions are animated by the self-winding mechanical B77 movement, which has a power reserve of 42 hours.

The Bulgari Bulgari-Bulgari Moon Phase watch is fitted with a flat sapphire crystal, and a white alligator strap with a stainless steel folding clasp.  Water resistance of the model is rated for 30 meters.  Initial pricing has been set at 11,900 Swiss Francs.  Selected Bulgari retailers, as well as the brand's exclusive boutiques will have the watch available for sale starting in May.
