This unique Cartier watch features a 50mm platinum case, whose generous dimensions serve to highlight the incredible nature of the manually wound Cartier 9435MC caliber. Designed and produced by complication specialist Audemars Piguet Renaud & Papi (APRP), this caliber utilizes a dual-spring barrel system to realize a power reserve of 240 hours. The 283 components of the movement, which include the one-minute tourbillon device, are suspended within a structure of bridges crafted from the mysteriously beautiful mineral Pietersite. In addition to the hours and minutes, the caliber also incorporates a power reserve indicator; the hands are crafted from blue steel, which accentuate the color of the bridges, as well as the sapphire cabochon that is set atop the winding crown.
The Cartier Concept Tourbillon 10-Day watch is fitted with a crocodile strap, and features sapphire crystals on both sides. Water resistance of the watch is rated at 30 meters.
