The recent annoucement of a partnership between the two powerhouses of Charriol and the NBA team the Phoenix Suns includes a range of mutual benefits including logo recognition, fascia clock signage and a commitment to raise money for Phoenix Suns Charities, the philanthropic arm of the Arizona basketball team.
Charriol USA Vice President Ori Zenter explained that the charity facet of the team was crucial in their decision process to choose the Suns. He stated, "Our goal with all of our sponsorships is to be able to give back to the community that we are a part of. The work that Phoenix Suns Charities has done over the last few years is one of the main reasons we chose the Suns franchise to partner with." The Suns Charities raises funds for a number of local Phoenix charities including Foundation for Blind Children, Phoenix Children's Hospital and the Assistance League of Phoenix and many others.
The US Airways Center, home of the Phoenix Suns, hosts over 200 sporting and entertainment events each year, guaranteeing that the Charriol signage will be seen by its approximately 2 million annual visitors.
There was no statement indicating that the partnership deal included ambassadorships by any of the basketball players for Charriol.
