The Chopard Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2008 Chronograph watch pays tribute to the Historic Monaco Grand Prix, which Chopard has partnered with since 2002. This appealing sports timepiece features a 42.50mm stainless steel case, a black tachymeter bezel, and an elegant silver dial with faceted hour indices and a "Monaco Historique" inscription. The caseback features an engraved emblem of the Monaco Automobile Club.
Functions of this sporty Chopard watch include chronograph with 30-minute and 60-second totalizers, as well as small seconds, and a date display. The self-winding movement which governs the watch has a 28,800 vph balance frequency, and a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The movement is also a COSC-certified chronometer, having passed 15 days of tests that evaluate its precision under various temperatures and positions.
The Chopard Grand Prix de Monaco Historique 2008 Chronograph watch is available in stainless steel with a barenia leather strap, or a matching stainless steel bracelet. An 18K rose gold version will also be presented, which is limited to an edition of 500 pieces.
