Back
Apr 3, 2008

The Chopard L.U.C Chrono One Flyback watch will join the regular Chopard L.U.C collection for 2008. The model, which was first presented in a 2006 pre-release, is now offered in both white and rose gold versions. The heart of this horological tour-de-force is the L.U.C Caliber 11CF, a caliber developed and manufactured by Chopard. Featuring fully integrated construction, and a traditional column-wheel control, the movement has a number of innovative, patented features, including an extremely precise chronograph reset, and a movement stop element for precise time setting. The efficient bi-directional rotor winding system is also exclusive, featuring a unidirectional gear which is protected by a patent; through it, optimal winding speed is achieved, with minimal energy loss. The movement offers displays for chronograph hours and minutes, as well as subsidiary seconds and a date display; it is also a COSC-certified chronometer.
The case diameter of the Chopard L.U.C Chrono One is 42mm, and sapphire crystals are fitted to both front and back. The charcoal grey dials show off a striated pattern, and polished hands. Each watch is fitted with a 22mm alligator strap, and a white or rose gold folding clasp. Chopard also offers a version with a baguette diamond bezel.
