The Chopard Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono is an attractive new limited edition chronograph for 2008, which carries on the automotive excitement of the Mille Miglia collection. The polished stainless steel case measures 44mm across, and features a sleek profile, with its protected crown and contoured push pieces.
The silver dial is accented by red elements, and has multi-tiered chronograph displays and a large rehaut with bold numerals. The sapphire crystal features a magnifying lens over the date display and is accented by two large transferred Arabic hour figures.
Chopard has fitted this watch with a self-winding mechanical movement. This caliber has a 28,800 vph balance frequency; power reserve is 48 hours. The caliber has earned a COSC chronometer certificate. Functions of the movement include a date display and small seconds, in addition to a chronograph complication with 12-hour and 30-minute totalizers.
The Chopard Mille Miglia 2008 GT XL Chrono is presented in a numbered limited edition of 2008 pieces in steel, and 500 in 18K rose gold.
The stainless steel watch is fitted with a natural black rubber strap patterned with a 1960's Dunlop racing tire-tread, and a steel folding clasp.
The rose gold model features a crocodile strap and an 18K rose gold tang buckle.
