The David Yurman Albion Collection

The advantage of the David Yurman Albion collection is its diversity. With it many gemstones, color, and chain designs, there is sure to be a piece to suit anyone’s style and taste.
The Albion collection is defined by two critical design elements. One key characteristic is the center rounded square (or rectangular gemstones in the case of some David Yurman Albion pendants) which is always faceted. These shapes make the piece neutral – neither ultra masculine nor ultra feminine. The second is the metal and pave diamond bezels which surround each gemstone. These bezels provide a frame for the gemstone not only drawing attention to the gemstone but highlighting it as the main feature. Both the pendants and the rings have these two bezels.
Whereas these two aspects tie the pieces together into a cohesive collection, there are details which contribute to the overall diversity and versatility of the collection as well. First, there are many different kinds of gemstones in the Albion collection including agate, citrine, amethyst, tiger’s eye, quartz, garnet, topaz, prasiolite, hematite, onyx, and mother-of-pearl. With such an array of gemstones that translates into the Albion pieces being available in a rainbow of colors including white, champagne, purple, olive, red, sage green, blue, black, and brown. The second feature is the design of the shank and the necklace chain depending on if the piece is a ring or a pendant. The David Yurman Albion rings are available with two different kinds of shanks: a smooth, wide shank resembling a cigar band or a twisted cable double shank. Necklace chains are available in (1) thin, double chains, (2) alternating smooth links and cable links chains, (3) interlocking chains, and (4) chains of alternating smooth links and cable links of different lengths (also available in two-toned metal). With a plethora of options, the Albion collection has much to offer and is suitable for day, evening, work and weekend attire.
The David Yurman Albion collection includes rings, pendants, earrings and a few bracelets. The necklace chains for the pendants are sold separately.
