Di Modolo launched their re-vamped website earlier this year complete with a new color scheme, a new ambassador, a new logo and an overall new feel.
The Italian luxury jeweler has chosen a deep burgundy and black color scheme with a sunray design emanating from the circle “Di Modolo-Milano” logo. In the world of luxury branding, it is somewhat atypical to have such a colorful motif; most brands opt for black and white websites with the occasional few choosing brown and natural tones.
Also new to
Di Modolo is their fabulous ambassador, the lovely
Catherine Zeta-Jones, who was chosen to represent Di Modolo jewelry around October 2007. She replaced Tea Leoni who reigned as ambassador for three consecutive years.
Catherine wore a grand diamond and white gold necklace with matching diamond earrings from the Di Modolo Triada collection to the grand opening of the Di Modolo
Madison Avenue flagship boutique in
New York City last fall. She was radiant as always. With Catherine showcasing the jewelry collection at red carpet events and with the launch of the new website, the timing was optimal for unveiling new jewelry. Di Modolo has added several new jewelry pieces to each of their amazing collections -
Triada,
Fiama,
Quadria,
Tempia,
Favola and
Falco for Men.
After many years of deaming, planning, and designing, Dino Modolo has introduced luxury timepieces. Founder and owner
Dino Modolo was originally a free lance jewelry and watch designer and craftsman. He worked for the most prestigious brands in the world before establishing his own company Di Modolo which first focused on jewelry. The 2008 year sees the addition of fine timepieces with oval cases, leather straps, roman numerals and diamonds adorning the case, bezel, and lugs (depending on the model). The Di Modolo brand is poised for full fledged luxury eliteness with its complete offering of both
luxury watches and
luxury jewelry. Perhaps othr accessories are on the horizon. Or, perhaps the brand will remain committed to creating and perfecting watches and jewelry.
Di Modolo has set up its USA headquarters on Madison Ave. and maintains a second office on Ruelle Montbrillant in La Chaux de Fonds, Switzerland. Interestingly, the Di Modolo website is only available in English; other languages such as French and even Italian are not options.
