Apr 4, 2008
Ebel presents a subtly updated interpretation of their feminine Beluga timepiece, which debuted in its original form in 1985. The new Beluga models, presented in a choice of stainless steel or 18K gold, are now offered with diamond-setting exclusively, underscoring the prestige and luxury of the line. Ebel ambassador Gisele Bündchen will lend her exotic beauty to a new advertising campaign that coincides with the launch of these new models.
The Ebel Beluga watch is available in stainless steel, as well as an 18K yellow gold; each variant features a mother of pearl, silver, or slate dial with 12 Top Wesselton VVS-IF diamonds at the hour markers. Additionally, 46 round brilliant diamonds in six different sizes are meticulously set on the case. The 26mm case and the bracelet retain the distinct style that characterized previous Beluga models, yet show off slight aesthetic changes that evoke a more contemporary aesthetic, and highlight the sculptural aspects of this luxurious design to the greatest effect.
Each Ebel Beluga watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal, and is controlled by a Swiss quartz movement. Water resistance is 50 meters.
