Actress Diane Kruger, a feature of Quentin Tarantino's "Inglourious Basterds" and Vincent Cassel's "Lascars", took time out during her activities in Cannes to assist Jaeger-LeCoultre in opening festivities for its newest French boutique.  At the star-studded ribbon cutting ceremony, a beaming Ms. Kruger joined Jerome Lambert, CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre and Bernard Brochard, Deputy Mayor of Cannes in welcoming distinguished guests and patrons of the brand.  

Jaeger-LeCoultre's boutique in the picturesque french sea town is the company's 28th exclusive store worldwide; it joins two existing boutiques in France, one on the Place Vendome in Paris, and the other in Lyon.  The spacious interior unites a variety of luxurious materials including fine leathers, slate and polished steel to create an environment of serenity and elegance shaped in accord with an Art Deco theme of pure lines and geometric symmetry.  

Diane Kruger has been a Jaeger-LeCoultre ambassador since 2007.  Gracing her wrist at the Cannes opening was a diamond-set variation of the Reverso Squadra Lady watch, complete with a chic strap in white alligator leather.
