Robert De Niro and Al Pacino aren't the only stars of John Avnet's new police thriller "Righteous Kill", which hit theaters this September. A self-winding Tutima watch also plays a significant role in the plot, which involves two police detectives investigating a series of vigilante killings.
The Tutima Flieger Chronograph F2 watch appears throughout the film. This stainless steel watch is perfectly designed for the adrenaline-charged action, and features a case which is water resistant to 100 meters, a convex sapphire crystal, and a highly legible dial with bold luminous hands and Arabic markers. The automatic Valjoux 7750 movement offers a chronograph function with 12-hour and 30-minute counters, in addition to continuous small seconds and a rapidly adjustable day and date display. Power reserve is approximately 48 hours.
Inspired by the design of a vintage Tutima aviators watch, the Flieger Chronograph F2 measures 38.2mm in diameter, and features a knurled rotating bezel that can be set to mark elapsed time. The caseback is fitted with a sapphire crystal window that presents a full view of the mechanical movement.
