Girard-Perregaux has announced a special, limited edition variation of their classically styled 1966 timepiece. These exclusive Girard-Perregaux watches are a homage to the Centenary Prize, which was awarded to Girard-Perregaux in 1966 by the Neuchâtel Observatory, for the brand's many accomplishments in the field of chronometry.
The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Palladium watch features a 38mm case crafted from palladium, a platinum family metal which is considerably rarer than gold, and renowned for its whiteness, brilliance, and strength. Girard-Perregaux will be offering the 1966 Palladium watch with two different dials, in a limited edition of 250 pieces each. The caseback features a commemorative inscription, as well as the number of the individual watch.
