Girard Perregaux WW.TC Chronograph and World Market Function Watches

World Time watches have been manufactured in Switzerland since the beginning of the 20th century. A world time watch is a very complicated timepiece that has been designed to measure the time in multiple major cities across the world. This is a very difficult watch to design and manufacture as the movement and dial must be synchronized to make the world time function work. The Girard Perregaux ww.tc world timer watch can be set to measure the time in twenty four different major cities world wide. The ww.tc is short for World Wide Time Control, which is exactly what this timepiece does.

Set in a 43 mm case the ww.tc watch will track the time in your home time zone and one of the twenty four other cities that are listed on the inner dial. This dial rotates by adjusting the crown on the left side on the case. The adjustment process is fast and easy once you learn how the function operates. Girard Perregaux has also included a chronograph function in the ww.tc watch. The pushers for the chrono are located on the right side of the case. You can choose from yellow, pink, or white gold for the case.

If you want something sportier consider the titanium version. This watch is not small measuring 43 mm in diameter and 13.40 in thickness so be sure to consider those dimensions before you buy it. GP uses their GP 033C0 movement with its unique coupling system on the rotor to power the ww.tc Chronograph. There are several dial colors to chose from including black with white and all black.

A second ww.tc model includes a World Market Financial function indicating the opening hours of four major stock markets around the world: New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
