The Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Square Perpetual Calendar watch is a complicated timepiece that combines elegance and classic design with sophisticated horological specialties. This watch is presented by Girard-Perregaux in both 18K pink gold and 18K white gold cases, which measure 34.20 x 32 mm. Straps are in crocodile leather, and dials are presented in both silver and black color schemes with recessed subdials and polished Arabic hour markers.
This watch features the manufacture Girard-Perregaux GP0033Q0 movement, which displays day, date, month, leap year, and moon phases. Naturally, the mechanism corrects itself automatically in accordance with the various length of months through the 4-year cycle. A special feature of this caliber is the exclusive Girard-Perregaux Microvar free sprung balance assembly; a system of six screws, and two regulating weights permit fine-tuning of the rate. A sapphire crystal window in the caseback reveals the fine aesthetic elements of the movement, whose details include 'Cotes de Geneve' and perlage finishing.
