The Glashutte Original Senator Navigator Chronograph watch joins the German manufacturer's collection of pilot-inspired luxury timepieces. This purposeful chronograph model exudes an appealing instrumental aesthetic, which is emphasized strongly by the satin-finished 44mm stainless steel case, the large winding crown, and the dark brown calfskin strap. Also captivating is the matte-finish black dial with bold luminous indications, and large blued-steel sword hands; the bi-compax chronograph displays follow the design of classical aviator wristwatches from the 1930's and 1940's.
Glashutte Original has fitted the Senator Navigator Chronograph with a sapphire crystal caseback window. Through it, one may observe the Glashutte Caliber 39-34 movement, which is refined with elaborate finishing, and a skeletonized rotor with a 21K gold outer segment. The balance wheel alternates 28,800 times per hour, giving the chronograph 1/8th second timing precision.
