Henry Dunay, a luxury jewelry participant of this international event year after year, promoted the 2007 release of his new book "Henry Dunay, A Precious Life" written by Penny Proddow and Marion Fasel, contrbuting editors to InStyle magazine, with an introduction by Stephen Magner, Vice President of Precious Jewels for Neiman Marcus, and photography by John Parrish. The 224 pages of this glossy book showcase Henry Dunay jewelry as well as describes his early life and his movement into jewelry. At Basel, Henry Dunay passed out pamphlets of the original September 2007 press release announcing the arrival of the book. The Henry Dunay book is currently available through online sources, Neiman Marcus, and select bookstores in the U.S.

(New York, NY) September 2007 Henry Dunay celebrates his 50 years in the fine jewelry industry with an elegant book "Henry Dunay: A Precious Life" launching bookstores across the country and Neiman Marcus stores this Fall. His life reads like a great American story — it is a chronicle of hard work, imagination, passion and determination to be the very best in the fine jewelry industry.

Dunay built his business to fit the luxurious mold of the great jewelry houses of all time: Faberge, Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels. What separates Henry Dunay from the rest is his ability to design and create his jewelry from start to finish; A skill no member of the previous jewelry houses have ever been able to achieve. The combination of Dunay's one-of-a-kind story and jewelry, along with breath-taking photos of his designs, and anecdotes from the notable women who have worn them, make this publication a gem of a book.

The volume includes a text by leading jewelry authors Penny Proddow and Marion Fasel, as well as an essay on Dunay's longtime love affair with rare colored stones by George E. Harlow, Curator of Minerals and Gems at the American Museum of National History, and interviews with some of Dunay's clients and family by journalist Jeryl Brunner.

"Henry Dunay: A Precious Life" is published by Abrams and will be distributed at Neiman Marcus, NeimanMarcus.com and select book stores across the country. For more information on the book or Henry Dunay's fine jewelry, contact Shaye Strager at Studio PR, Shaye@Studio-PR.com.
