Basel 2008: Hublot All Black King Watch
Back
Apr 9, 2008
The Hublot All Black King watch utilizes a striking entirely black color scheme to illustrate the mysterious concept of "invisible visibility". This dynamic creation is based upon the Hublot Big Bang King timepiece, which at 48mm is the largest of the various Big Bang models. Case and back of the All Black King are crafted from matte-finished black ceramic, as is the bezel, which rotates in the counter-clockwise direction only--a necessary feature on a true diver's timepiece. Also facilitating its sporty purpose, is the impressive 300 meter water resistance, and an anti-reflective flat sapphire crystal. The dial carries out the stealthy black theme, with its matte finish, black-finished hands and indices, and black luminous material.
The Hublot All Black King watch is animated by the HUB21 caliber, a self-winding movement comprising 180 individual components, and 23 jewels. Functions are hours, minutes, sweep seconds, and a rapid-adjust date display. A tungsten-carbide central rotor ensures efficient winding upon the wrist, to a full power reserve of approximately 42 hours.
A durable, smooth rubber strap embossed with the Hublot logo completes this striking limited edition watch, whose production is restricted to a series of 500 individually numbered pieces. The folding clasp is made from PVD-finished stainless steel.
