IWC And Eva Longoria Partner For Make-A-Wish Charity Auction In Paris

"Desparate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker teamed up with Swiss watchmaker IWC over the weekend to support the efforts of Make-A-Wish France, as well as her own organization "Eva's Heroes", a non-profit group dedicated to improving the lives of children and young adults with developmental disabilities.
The elegant IWC party took place at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Paris-Vendome, and was attended by a number of personalities from the world of sports and the media. After an elegant dinner, an auction ensued which featured various IWC timepieces, including a Portuguese Chrono-Automatic watch that fetched a price of 12,000 Euros.
As the party drew on, a number of other desirable prizes were auctioned, including tickets for the Wimbledon finals, a weekend in Turin accompanied by travel in a private jet, and a trip for four to the United States to take in a San Antonio Spurs basketball game and a shooting of Desperate Housewives. In total, the evening, realized a grand total of 190,000 Euros for the focus charities.
