The
Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX1 R-Alarm watch is a prestigious luxury timepiece inspired by the many technical and aesthetic parallels between exceptional automobiles and haute horlogerie. Elegant and subtle, this sleek, sporty luxury timepiece confirms the important status of Jaeger-LeCoultre as a guardian of traditional Swiss watchmaking values.
God, as is sometimes said, is in the details. Adherents to this expression will find much to admire with the Jaeger-LeCoultre AMVOX1 R-Alarm watch. For example, the caseback of the watch is engraved with the brand logos of both Aston Martin and Jaeger-LeCoultre, testifying to the exclusive relationship. The dial of the Alarm watch is sober and elegant, yet even here, there is method to the design - the arc-shaped inner decoration on the dial is arranged in a 270-degree arc, just like the dashboard instrumentation of Aston Martin cars. The leather strap which accompanies this Jaeger-LeCoultre watch is crafted from "Bridge of Weir" hide, the very exclusive leather which Aston Martin uses to craft the beautiful seats in their motorcars.
As is the case with each
Jaeger-LeCoultre timepiece, the AMVOX1 R-Alarm watch is animated by a movement designed and manufactured by Jaeger-LeCoultre. The self-winding JLC 918 caliber with a power reserve of approximately 45 hours ticks inside the steel or titanium case; this special "Memovox" movement provides a unique alarm function which produces a pleasing sound of large volume, thanks to a special hanging gong which represents the summation of Jaeger-LeCoultre's 40 years of accumulated experience in producing alarm wristwatches. In addition to the alarm function, the Caliber 918 also offers a rapidly set date display, and sweeping seconds, as well as an internally-rotating bezel which is controlled by its own dedicated crown.
The intricately machined and finished case of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Amvox1 R-Alarm timepiece measures 42mm in diameter and is available in stainless steel or titanium. In addition to the Bridge of Weir leather strap, the stainless steel version is also available on a matching stainless steel bracelet.
